By accessing or using Petpaw Portrait, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Our Service

Petpaw Portrait lets users upload pet photos, select portrait styles, generate AI-assisted pet portraits, download results, and manage account credits. Features may change as we improve the product.

• Free users may generate watermarked preview images when eligible.
• Paid credit-pack users may generate watermark-free images while credits remain.
• Generation quality can vary because AI outputs are probabilistic.
• We may limit, suspend, or refuse generation requests that violate these Terms.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to consent to online services in your jurisdiction, or use the service with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

4. Uploaded Content and AI Results

You retain rights you have in photos and prompts you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, store, display, and deliver your uploads and generated results as part of operating Petpaw Portrait.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for photos you upload. Do not upload content that violates another person's rights, privacy, or applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
• Upload, request, generate, or attempt to generate NSFW, adult, nude, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, pornographic, fetish, or erotic content.
• Upload photos of humans, minors, or private individuals for sexualized, exploitative, abusive, or non-consensual generation.
• Misrepresent generated images as official endorsements or identity documents.
• Use the service in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

6. Content Safety and Moderation

Petpaw Portrait is intended for safe pet portrait creation only. We may screen prompts and generation requests before they are sent to AI image or video models. Requests that are blocked or flagged by content safety checks may be refused before generation begins.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, refuse generation requests, or take other appropriate action for attempts to create prohibited NSFW, adult, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, abusive, exploitative, or unlawful content.

7. Credits, Payments, and Delivery

Paid features are sold through credit packs or other offers shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Creem. Credits are generally added after successful payment confirmation and webhook processing.

Credits have no cash value, are not a bank account, and are intended only for use inside Petpaw Portrait. We may correct balances in cases of fraud, payment reversal, technical error, or abuse.

8. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. In general, already-consumed credits and completed AI generations are not refundable unless required by law or unless we decide otherwise for a verified service or billing issue.

9. Intellectual Property

Petpaw Portrait, our website, branding, interface, code, templates, and service design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except as permitted by these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect image quality, or that every generation will match your expectations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petpaw Portrait will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruption arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without limiting any consumer protection rights you may have in your place of residence.
